Why prioritize sleep?

Most adults need 7+ hours of good-quality sleep each night. When properly rested, you think more clearly, your immune system works well so you get sick less often, maintain healthy weight, and reduce stress.

How can you fall asleep faster?

Create a comfortable sleep environment. Set a bedtime routine. Stop using electronics 30 minutes before you want to go to sleep. Try to go to bed around the same time each night. Increase physical activity. (When you work out/exercise, you fall asleep easier than not.) Avoid large meals, caffeine, and alcohol before your time to sleep. Melatonin is a natural sleep promoter. Be careful with taking the hormones that you don’t become dependent on them, and make sure you have 7-8 hours available to sleep when taking them.
