June 21 was the official First Day of Summer. It’s vacation season. Remember that life is a gift. You’re not meant to just work for the rest of your life. Especially now with Covid restrictions a bit more relaxed, we’re really going out more than the past 2 years.
I recently took a vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and my days and nights were filled with rest, relaxation, and a lot of beach time. Studies have shown that taking time away from your job have physical and mental health benefits. Whether you have paid vacation time or not, your mental and physical health will be better for taking a break. Less stress means less risk of heart disease and other ailments. Take self-care time.
