When I was growing up, my parents would ask “Wanda, who is the most important person in the world?” My answer was “I AM”. I learned at a very young age the importance of self-love, self-respect, self-esteem and knowing my worth. This is not conceit, narcissisism, arrogance or anything like that. It’s about understanding that YOU need to take care of YOU before you can take care of anyone else. Self-care is essential in order to be the best parent, spouse, friend, business partner, colleague, etc. that you can be. Do you love yourself?
